These Lazy Susan's are made from the top or end of the wine barrel. Most of them have obvious cooperage marks still visible. The cooperage marks can be hot iron brands, carved and painted logos of the maker, or simple stampings. In most cases it will identify if the oak is French or American. These pieces are hand sanded and cleaned to avoid removing the cooperage marks then finished with a semi-gloss product. The Lazy Susan hardware is attached and it's ready to be the most stunning Lazy Susan in the neighborhood. Holding a bottle of wine and some cheese or a chocolate fondue these Lazy Susan's will command attention.
