RECOMMENDED SERVING: 1 Scoop (33 grams) Once or twice daily (43 cc scoop enclosed)

INGREDIENTS: MOS (Mannan-Oligosaccharides), Live Yeast Culture (saccharonyces cerevisiaa), Slippery Elm Bark.

Prebiotics promote the growth of beneficial bacteria in the intestine. Prebiotics work with existing bacteria by providing them with food and by balancing and improving the environment in the gut.

MOS (mannan-oligosaccharides) (20,000 mg per scoop) This prebiotic is derived from the outer wall of yeast cells. MOS works by sticking onto pathogenic bacteria so that they cannot become attached to the wall of the gut. MOS also has a beneficial effect on the immune system of the intestinal track, as well as improving feed digestibility.

SLIPPERY ELM BARK (1500mg per scoop) helps to coat and soothe the digestive track and also may have antioxidant properties. This will act as an internal poultice, reducing over-acid secretions and soothing inflammation promoting normal healthy recovery of the damaged lining. Will also assist in relaxing the stomach and improving the normal rhythmic action necessary for digestion and fluid secretion.

YEAST (live yeast culture minimum 1 billion cells per gram) (12,000 mg per scoop) Cultures that are selected for equine diets have been shown categorically to stimulate good bacteria in the hind gut of the horse improving digestion. Research has concluded that live nutritional yeast can reduce excess acidity in equine caecal contents and assist in the restoration of normal gut function which appear to affect temperament in certain horses. Yeast enhances the activity of fibre digesting bacteria, therefore promoting a more efficient use of the vitamins and minerals. Undigested carbohydrates and excess starch can cause high acidity in the hind gut, which can reduce vitamin B formation.
